DG has over 30 years of experience co-founding, leading, and acquiring multiple businesses in various industries. His industry experience includes travel management, technology, publishing, manufacturing, professional sports, and staffing. DG’s degrees include a B.B.A. from Southern Methodist University, an M.B.A. from the Kelly School of Business at Indiana University, and a law degree from the Maurer School of Law at Indiana University. D.G. and his wife, Gini, live in Bloomington, Indiana, and have six children. DG is the Chair of The Navigators’ U.S. Board of Directors, an international Christian organization.

Lauren Elmore

Lauren is a Partner at Elmore Companies and CEO of Firmatek. Lauren is a principal investor in Firmatek, Bellwether Forest Products, and Turner Mining Group. She has a background in finance and law. Prior to Firmatek, Lauren worked in private equity at glendonTodd Capital and in financial consulting at Cambridge Associates. Lauren received her BA in Economics from Stanford University in 2008, and she received her J.D. and M.B.A. with honors from Indiana University in 2014. She lives in Colorado with her family and enjoys spending time in the mountains.

Gant Elmore

Gant is a partner at Elmore Companies, a Bloomington, Indiana based family office that partners with entrepreneurs to acquire small businesses across the country. At Elmore Companies, Gant is responsible for sourcing and evaluating potential acquisitions and supporting all portfolio companies. In addition to his responsibilities at Elmore Companies, Gant is Executive Chairman at Turner Mining Group, which he co-founded, and Firmatek. At each of these companies, Gant is a trusted advisor to the individual CEO and other high level executives where he focuses on strategy and growth. Gant is also actively involved in the management of the Elmores’ Minor League Baseball teams and is on the board of directors for Grayhill, a global electronics manufacturer.

Turner Mining Group is a Bloomington, Indiana based mining services contractor with hundreds of employees across the country. Firmatek is the leading inventory management and mapping company in the mining and waste services industries.

Gant has a background in finance and law, including both his J.D. and M.B.A, having worked for Morgan Stanley in New York City, and at private equity firm glendonTodd Capital in Dallas, TX. Prior to pursuing his J.D. and M.B.A. at Indiana University, Gant was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers and played in their minor league system. Gant received a B.A. in Economics from Yale University in 2011, and received his J.D. and M.B.A. with honors from Indiana University in 2016.

Matt Moldenhauer

Matt left a management consulting career path at Bain & Company in Chicago to become President of Bellwether Forest Products in 2016. In addition to Bellwether, Matt also began supporting the investment side of Elmore Companies as a Partner in 2019. Matt earned his Bachelor of Science at the University of Wisconsin La Crosse and an MBA at Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. He enjoys broadening his cooking repertoire, running races his friends trick him into, and spending time with his family including wife and young son.

Todd Taranto

Todd is the president of DecisionTree Resources and oversees Cadre and Ameriforce Media.  He began his career in the travel industry after serving in the U.S. Army. Over 20 years of acquiring companies has allowed him to gain experience in a broad range of industries, including technology, travel, staffing, legal, publishing, professional sports, real estate, and forestry. His role is to search for and propose deals that fit the strategic objectives of the Elmore Companies. Todd and his wife, Stefanie, live in Brewster, MA and have two children. He is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY and received an M.B.A from Indiana University.

Peter Rumley

Peter is a numbers guy who loves to research and bring clarity to finance and tax issues to help decision-makers make informed decisions. He started his accounting career as an auditor at Deloitte, one of the ‘Big Four’ global accounting firms, giving him exposure to advising on a broad range of technical issues across several industries. It also gave him a disciplined approach to financial reporting and analysis, with a focus on efficiency. Peter is a licensed Certified Public Accountant, and holds certifications as a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and Certified in Financial Management (CFM). Typical of detail-focused CPA’s, he graduated summa cum laude with both of his degrees, earning a BA in Economics and Accounting from Aquinas College, and a MS in Accounting from Grand Valley State University. Peter lives in Sarasota, Florida with his wife and five kids.

Emy Huseby

Emy Huseby is from North Dakota/northern Minnesota and a graduate of Minot State University. Emy moved to Bloomington, IN and started working with the Elmore Companies in 2007 with the understanding that it would be a two- or three-year work assignment while her spouse completed his masters’ degree at Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University. 15 years later, there is no end in sight in the working relationship with the Elmore Companies. Emy specializes in building accounting departments focusing on controls, processes, and efficiencies.

Lori Thomas

Lori Thomas is a seasoned Corporate Secretary and Director of Administration with over 25 years experience at Elmore Companies. As our Corporate Secretary she ensures the integrity of our companies’ compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. Lori serves as a resource for principals and senior management, maintaining key corporate records. She works directly with the Chairman of Elmore Companies and the Elmore Family Office. As an extension of the Elmore Family, Lori is able to master the calendar, anticipate the needs, create and master systems, and respect family confidentiality. Most recently, Lori represented the group during the two-year construction of a $15M mixed use building and related sales process, and has served as President for one of the direct investment companies.

Kayla Baker

Kayla joined Elmore Companies in 2021 as Executive Assistant to Gant and Lauren Elmore, while supporting and collaborating with Owners and Operators across the organization.  As a 2014 Indiana University alumna, Kayla earned an Associate’s Degree from the IU School of Optometry and a Bachelor’s Degree from the College of Arts and Sciences. Kayla grew up in Bloomington and counts herself lucky to call this her hometown. She loves that she can find both a small town feel and big city diversity here. Kayla married her high school sweetheart in 2017 and they have two children.

Jeffrey C. Jones of Bloomington, IN is a graduate of the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and is CEO and Chairman of Solution Tree, Inc. which delivers comprehensive professional development to PreK-12 educators around the world. Jeff and his business partner DG Elmore purchased Solution Tree in 1998, established Solution Tree Canada 2004, Marzano Research 2008 and acquiring Hawker Brownlow Education in Melbourne Australia in 2018.  Jeff is also Chairman of Sarge Property Management and Hoosier Acres LLC.  Jeff sits on the Board of Directors of Rachel’s Challenge and Marzano Academies, and serves as Board Chairman for Trans World Radio. He and his wife Margaret have been married since 1996 and have been blessed with four children.

What he loves most about running his own business?:"The opportunity to run an organization whose end goal is to enhance the learning experience of all Prek-12 students is unbelievably challenging and rewarding. Mat Orrego

Mat Orrego has worked in the software and travel industry for 25 years as CEO and co-founder of Cornerstone Information Systems. Today Cornerstone is a global leader in travel automation technology, allowing the customer to streamline their fulfillment, data acquisition, and business intelligence practices.

A graduate of Indiana University Kelly School of Business, Mat is a recognized speaker in the travel industry and an avid supporter of trade and professional associations. He loves to mentor and encourage young professionals to grow their careers and start their businesses. Mat is also an avid investor in various enterprises, including technology, manufacturing, and services businesses. He makes his home in Bloomington, Indiana, where he and his wife Beverly enjoy the good life of living in a Midwest university town surrounded by friends and family.

What he loves most about running his own business?:"I love almost every aspect of my work, but especially that part that allows me to ask questions and learn how to improve on a solution. I'm not too fond of the idea that you don't mess with things that are not broken. I love the idea of scale and how you build for scale, and where it breaks is where I like to play."

Frank Violi

Frank Violi graduated from Indiana University with a BA in Economics in 1980. He then graduated from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management with an MBA in 1983, where he was named an F.C. Austin Scholar. Violi began his professional life in the Forest Products Industry, working for two Fortune 500 companies as a financial analyst, sales representative, strategic planning director, regional sales manager, and vice president of sales and marketing. After 10 years in Forest Products, he joined a leverage buyout of a large commercial printing company, as vice president of sales and marketing. Upon successful completion of the sale of the printing business, he purchased an interest in an electronics manufacturer. As president, he expanded this contract manufacturer via acquisition and the establishment of a plant in Mexico. After selling this business, he searched for another business to buy.

What he loves most about running his own business?:"The best thing about running my own business is that DG and I work together to chart the course, while I create the culture and find the customers. The consistency of purpose allows me to focus on the important things that allow a business to grow and evolve, while taking care of customers and associates."

President - Gant Travel

Patrick Linnihan

Patrick Linnihan is the President and CEO of Gant Travel Management, a travel agency that specializes in serving corporate travelers on the Concur Platform. Patrick’s previous work experience includes leadership and sales roles with GE Medical Systems and Pfizer.  Patrick is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. Outside of work, he lives in the Milwaukee area with his wife and four children. His passions include family, swim club (Go EBSC!), reading, and outdoor adventure.

What he loves most about running his own business?:"I love working with our team to create innovative solutions that people love; our team works at an extremely high level of efficiency, one that I have yet to see anywhere else. I love finding new hires who come to our team that fit and thrive and love being a part of what Gant represents."

President - Mednick Associates

Adam Taranto

Adam Taranto is the President of Mednick Associates. After serving in the Navy after college, Adam, a native of the metro Boston area, spent a few years in the Fortune 500 corporate world in various financial and strategic planning positions. While gaining valuable experience, he was looking for something beyond the normal corporate job. Adam started working with the Elmore Group by assisting with M&A activity and currently serves as an operating partner. In the last 10 years Mednick Associates has completed a successful transition from the previous owner, nationalized the client base and is recognized as a regional leader in the medical-legal consulting industry. Adam completed an undergraduate degree at Northwestern University, as well as a Masters degree in Business Administration from Vanderbilt University. Married, with 3 children, Adam enjoys spending time with his family and traveling.

What he loves most about running his own business?:“Challenge of diversifying revenue streams. Finding new, or creating new, opportunities to expand services to clients, which combine short term goals with a long term strategy”

Keaton Turner

Keaton Turner is the President and Founder of Turner Mining Group. A business leader with broad understanding of the mining industry, Keaton has led organizations across new business acquisition, site operations, vendor strategy, and client relations. Before founding Turner Mining Group, Keaton headed a division of Turner Contracting, Inc. – supervising strategic direction, operations, and commercial development.Previously at Turner Contracting, Inc., Keaton led project design, estimation, operations management, and partner coordination. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Construction Management and Business Administration from Indiana State University.

What he loves most about running his own business?:"What I love most about running Turner Mining Group is the fulfillment I get when I look back at everything we have accomplished together and the lives we’ve impacted over the years. Lauren is CEO of Firmatek. She has overseen Firmatek’s transition from a Texas laser scanning company to a national leader in drone solutions for the mining, landfill, and electric utilities industries. Prior to Firmatek, Lauren worked in private equity at glendonTodd Capital and in financial consulting at Cambridge Associates. Lauren received her BA in Economics from Stanford University in 2008, and she received her J.D. and M.B.A. with honors from Indiana University in 2014.

What she loves most about running her own business?:“I'm passionate about building organizations, and that's what I get to do everyday. I love that I get to set the direction of the company and work to grow and develop the organization to meet our goals.”

Randy Schneider

Randy is the CEO of Adams & Westlake and Legacy Fire Protection. Randy is a graduate of Indiana University. After a brief stint in the National Football League, Randy began his business career in the Vinyl Window and Siding industry as a Sales Manager for 7 years. In 2004, Randy partnered with DG Elmore and became the President and owner of Adams & Westlake. He and his wife Julie have been married since 1991 and have been blessed with one daughter and three sons. They are involved with Granger Community Church, The Navigators and Back2Back Ministries. Randy enjoys watching his kids sporting events and spending time on the lake.

Callie Elmore

Callie is President of Coach Marketing / Association Management Systems. She has spent her career in consulting, marketing, and sales, most recently at a Fortune 500 building materials manufacturer. She received her BA in Communications from Pepperdine University and her M.B.A. from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. Callie is a founding Fellow of MaverickNext, a philanthropy accelerator creating a movement of emerging global leaders who are engaged, inspired and changing themselves and the world through strategic investments.

Dan Violi

Dan began his career in operations and general management functions at large corporations – first Target, then Amazon. Following business school, he worked at NextGen Growth Partners, a lower middle market private equity fund. Dan partnered with Elmore Companies in 2023, together acquiring Wave Reaction shortly thereafter. Dan earned his BA at Indiana University and his MBA at Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management.

Thomas Haun

Thomas is experienced in new business creation, Thomas has held leadership roles across human capital, operations, sales, marketing, strategy, and finance. Before founding Turner Staffing Group, Thomas was the Chief Operating Officer of Turner Mining Group, overseeing the organization, its operations, and its strategy. Previously, Thomas led global business teams for PrecisionHawk, leading strategic direction, ecosystem development, and commercial partnerships. Thomas was part of DuPont’s Corporate Leadership Program, where his responsibilities included building new business lines for DuPont Pioneer’s emerging technology and services. Additionally, Thomas led proposal development and negotiations for Northrop Grumman Corporation. Thomas holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, BS in Mathematics and BA in Economics from the University of Maryland.

CEO & President - Grayhill, Inc.

Scott Harrison

Scott is a coach and mentor to Grayhill’s seasoned leadership team. He has overseen Grayhill’s transition to a global leader in human interface devices and solutions in agriculture, construction, healthcare, military, aerospace, and industrial industries. Before Grayhill, Scott held business unit leader roles at Spirent, Teledyne Technologies, Ametek, and the TASi Group. Scott received his BS in Chemistry from the United States Naval Academy and served in the United States Nuclear Submarine Force following his graduation and commissioning.  Scott has attended business executive education programs at both Stanford University and the London School of Business. Scott lives in La Grange, Illinois, and enjoys traveling.
